Today is Friday, let’s relax a little and learn something.
Why do people love Fridays?
Why are more people happy on Friday than on Monday?
Why do people say, “thank God it’s Friday”?
Someone will tell me it’s because Friday marks the beginning of weekend.
Well, let me disagree.
The reason why most people love Fridays is because it marks the end of hustling and struggling of the work place.
Have I told you before?
A survey outcome has it that over 92% of people HATE their jobs.
You now see why they love Friday!
In the real sense of it, life becomes horror if you hate your job.
You’ve got to spend most part of your life on the work place.
If you see anyone who (truly) loves his work, he’s not happier on Friday than he is on Monday.
That should be your goal, and my goal.
Yes. I’ve not attain it all. I have not arrived. I’m not swimming in money, but I’m moving fast ahead, trying to have a better financial life.
I just must love every day of my life.
Yea, life is hectic and tough, yet, we can strive to choose a business or profession we love.
How can you do that?
No one-sided answer, but maybe starting your own business or choosing a new profession will give you a better life.
If you think being a business owner will make you happier, then FIGHT to be an entrepreneur.
I used the word FIGHT above because that’s what it takes.
I know you trust me. I wouldn’t want to tell you, “hey, it’s easy to make a lot of money!” That’s a white lie.
One great problem with our culture is that we love freedom but we don`t know how free men got their freedom. Freedom is not free. Freedom comes after fight. If we cannot fight, we cannot be freed.
Now it`s your duty to think. Are you happy with your job or it`s like a prison to you?
If you`re happy with your job and it`s paying your bills, you may not really need to be a business owner. Yes, you may not become a millionaire, but do you actually have to become a millionaire before you will be successful?
Success is more of who you are than what you have. A man/woman who enjoys his/her job is a king because his/her job has become his/her hobby. Spending 8-10 hours daily on a “hobby” is a life indeed. That`s a success… for me.
However, if the reverse is the case, if you hate going to work, if your job makes you sad, if you love Fridays more than Monday, life could actually be like a prison. Just as spending 8 hours daily on your hobby makes you feel great, spending 8 hours in prison makes you feel like a slave.
I have tasted both sides and I can tell you that success is doing what you love doing, even if you don`t have millions in your bank account.
I will rather do what I love doing daily and eat two times a day (because I’m poor), than to do what I hate and have extra one million naira in my account.
Do you hate Mondays?
You have got to think hard on how you can hate Fridays instead.
What profession do you think will make you happy every of working hours?
This question is not usually the hardest to answer.
The hardest question to answer is, are you willing to do whatever you have to do (fight) to pursue that dream profession or business that will make you happy?
Fight to make Friday your worst day.
