You must have heard it more than one time,
“There are so many opportunities in Lagos”
So many other people believe that there are so many opportunities in the US, UK, etc.
And that is the reason why thousands of Africans are rushing out each month.
My question is,
Is there (truly) opportunities in Lagos?
If truly there are many opportunities in Lagos, why is it that most people living in Lagos are still poor?
The truth is, when people say,
There are many opportunities in Lagos, what they actually want to say is,
There are many jobs in Lagos and this includes hard labour factory jobs that pay you 20k or less per month (my wife once did it years before we met)
Steve, are you then saying there are no opportunities in Lagos, US and UK?
Did you hear me saying that?
Instead I’m saying, most people are not trained to look for opportunities.
School taught us to look for job (and that’s stupid of school)
When you see Africans running to the UK, US etc., wouldn’t you think they are going there to search for the opportunities?
Well, you’re wrong.
Africans run to the US, UK etc to look for jobs.
So, when you hear people making noise about opportunities, ask them to tell you what they mean and you’ll be surprised they don’t understand what they are saying.
Jobs and opportunities are two entirely different things.
But Steve, what is your today noise all about?
Well, my noise was designed to awake the giant within you.
You need to learn how to look for opportunities (and not jobs).
By the way, some people are complaining that I talk as if everyone can be entrepreneur.
I own you no apology.
I preach to people who want to be entrepreneurs.
If you hate being an entrepreneur, you can hate me for my message.
Back to our discussion jare.
How can you discover business opportunities.,?
Train your mind to see the invisible.
A big problem about opportunities is that,
They are NOT visible to our eyes.
You can only see them with your mind.
Unfortunately, our minds were trained, programmed and brainwashed to look for jobs.
You seriously need to unlearn and learn again.
