His name is Eng. Rauf Aregbesola. He is the governor of Osun State, Nigeria (as at the time of writing this tutoria.
Get me right. He is the governor of my state and I love him. He is a visionary with a rugged spirit.
In fact, a visit to the state he governs will convince you that he’s doing well.
Ok. So, why did I then call him ignorant?
I didn’t call him ignorant.
I called him, FINANCIAL ignorant…a business little-headed person. lol
Since all of us are ignorant in one area or another, it’s not too bad to be ignorant in something.
The year was 2013. What happened was that universities/polytechnics students were graduating (from the prison they call school).
Then, the governor offered a poor financial advice to these people who were just entering a new world, a world where “good job” is no more.
What was that advice?
“Be self-employed”.
I know you must have being hearing that advice before now. What do you think about it?
Well, a good advice at the WRONG time.
Listen to my voice because it is the truth. We are fooling ourselves and destroying the future of our children.
How on earth will you brainwash someone for 8years (SS1-NYSC) about “good job”, and just after that man has prepared his heart for an unrealistic world, you just call him and say, “you see, I was only lying to you ever since. Please, there is no job in this country. Be self-employed”
HELL, I hate that advice.
I hate school (especially university and polytechnic)…..because they are preparing youths for a world that is no more existing…. the world of good job
Now, what can we do?
We must, URGENTLY start teaching Africans to be entrepreneurs!
It is urgent.
It is urgent.
It is do or die.
If we fail to train our youths to be entrepreneurs, believe me, this continent will soon become HELL for all of us (rich and poor alike).
That is the passion behind the ABC.

So far (since 2007) we love the results we are getting.
We have opened many eyes. We have empowered some souls.
We have inspired some men and women who may tomorrow become the richest Africans.

Believe me, I had no one to inspire me or teach me entrepreneurship.
No one. No one except searching around for books.

I don`t know who and who will be reading this tutorial but let me say, it`s very stupid for us to start telling our youths to be self-employed after we have brainwashed the for 25 years about good job.
We all know there is no more good job and we continue training all our youths how to get one.
