I received a call from a man last night. His concern was, “Why are some people very fortunate in life and others are not?”
I spent time to explain to him;
Most people you think are fortunate are actually NOT.
Peoples’ lives seem smooth after they have become successful.
Not many people care about what successful people have passed through before they got a breakthrough.
In most cases, successful people are ordinary people who persistently pursue their dream.
Africans have to stop thinking of luck.
If you think some people are lucky and that’s why they succeed, you’re simply telling yourself “You see, I cannot succeed because I’m not lucky”
We must all agree that God loves us and wants us to be successful.
That your life is rough doesn’t mean you’re unfortunate.
Many of us didn’t have it easy too.
You have to stop thinking there’s a power above working against you.
Though you are ordinary, not many people are extra-ordinary.
You can become a successful entrepreneur, inventor, husband/wife, etc.
You just have to know what you want out of life and be willing to pay the price to get it.
It won’t be easy, so you have to become really stubborn.
Plus, learning must be part of your daily schedule.
If you want to be a successful entrepreneur, you must be willing to read, read and read from those who have gone ahead of you.
I am an entrepreneur and a business student.
I buy books and read books.
I want to finish writing this post and start reading a business book.
That’s how I forge ahead.
Most Africans are simply deceiving themselves.
They hate learning but want to succeed in life.
Don’t tell them what I told you; they are jokers.
“The successful warrior is the average man, with laser-like focus.”
