You must have read the news about how so many Africans are being sold as slaves in Libya.
There are so many people who are furious about that, unfortunately without asking questions.
The questions I want to pose for all of us are;
First, what push these people out of their countries in the first place?
They were looking for money.
Traveling out of your country to look for money is one of the most stupid actions you can ever take with your life.
I’ll tell you the reason.
You see, money is NOT a product of location. It’s a production of mind and ideas.
People are not rich or poor because they live in certain place or country.
People are rich or poor because of their minds, believe system and ideas they are willing to pursue.
I’ve written details about these in my free business books so don’t let me waste my time again.
The second question we all need to ask is;
What’s big deal about slavery and slave-trade?
Ounch!
You hate me?
Well, what’s big deal about slavery and slave-trade?
Nothing.
We only make noise when it’s obvious.
Slavery has started from the beginning of the world, it’s happening everywhere today and so shall it be forever.
Listen.
That state governor who owes his worker 6 months salaries is a slave-master (and there are many of them in Nigeria and Africa)
That employer who uses his employees like machine is a slave-master (and there are thousands of them all over the world).
Those people who travel out of Africa to go and wash dishes and undies in Europe and America are what?
That job that requires you to do stuffs you hate is slavery (and there are millions who rush to such work every day).
That “Good Job” that requires you to work 14 hrs every day and there’s nothing much to show for it is slavery (and most people do just that all their lives)
Listen. There is slavery and slave-trade everywhere and nobody complains about them.
We only make noise when it’s obvious.
What is the Way Out?
Free yourself!
Slaves are slaves because they love to be.
Unfortunately, most people don’t know this truth.
Most people think they are forced into the kind of life they are living now.
So many people complain about the government and so many people blame the economy.
Just as Africans who struggled to Libya did so voluntarily before they were taken as slaves, nobody is forced into slavery.
People almost always (out of their ignorance) voluntarily go into slavery.
You don’t have to travel to Europe to be rich. If you think you must travel out of your country before you “make it”, then you’re likely to end up being a slave (like many of our brothers in Europe and America).
If you think you must be an employees for 35 years, it’s your choice and you won’t complain to anyone about the slavery.
Over a decade ago, almost all of my age mates were preparing (and praying) to get “good jobs”.
I was preparing and praying to build a great company.
Myself and these guys are in the same situations financially (but we chose different paths)
Over a decade after, most of my mates are still complaining about lack of money and how their employers are treating them while I have NO employer and more money than them.
Nobody can put you in slavery, until you love the slavery yourself.
Stop complaining and stop making excuses.
Look around you for business opportunities (there are many of them in Africa).
Cooperate and form partnership deals with different people who can build your business with you.
Learn from successful entrepreneurs and be smart as you build your own empire.
It’s not easy to be free but if you’re stubborn, you can do it.
It’s not easy to build a company of your own but it’s easier than working for another man all your life and retire poor at 65.
Slavery is everywhere.
Let’s FIGHT for our individual freedom.
You can join hundreds of other Africans like you who are already learning how to be free at the Africa Business University (A.B.U)
I Love You!
