Hi friends, I make this video to explain How you can become Rich Without Running Away From Africa. [Read more…]
Stop Fighting The Wind
I was with a friend of mine yesterday to greet his family (especially his little daughter).
I later got to know that the staff of the company my friend is working for are on an industrial strike.
Probing to know why, I was told that one of the reasons why the staff went on strike was because they want their retirement age to be 65 (instead of 60 as it is now).
They are fighting the wrong fight.
Somehow most employees seem not to understand what they should fight for.
You saw them fighting for increase in the minimum wages yesterday and increase in the entitlements tomorrow.
These guys seem to believe that if they could fight the governments or their employers and win some of the battles, their lives would be better.
They don’t seem to understand that even if you win the race against cat, you’re still the best among the cats.
Even if the government bow down and increase the retirement age of these people, does that translate into wealth for them?
Even if you work for 50 years and retire at 95 years, you can’t still become rich from the salary.
Don’t join them in fighting the wrong fights.
Fight the right fights.
The right fight is within you.
To fight the right fight, fight with YOURself.
Develop your mind.
Stop believing that Africa is poor and stop making excuses.
Start reading those financial and business books.
Instead of fighting to remain an employee till 65, why can’t you start planning how to build your own company and fire yourself as soon as possible?
Instead of fighting for government to increase your salary by 30%, why can’t you figure out how you can solve a major human problem with a service or product and then make 50x of your present salary?
Why fighting little fights why you can fight big ones?
Why fighting to get better pay from another person’s company while you can get all the pay from your own company?
I’m NOT saying it’s easy.
I’m only saying building your own company is easier than working for other people’s companies for 35 years.
If you think you can do it, you can.

Why Do Africans Make Noise About Libya Slavery?
You must have read the news about how so many Africans are being sold as slaves in Libya.
There are so many people who are furious about that, unfortunately without asking questions.
The questions I want to pose for all of us are;
First, what push these people out of their countries in the first place?
They were looking for money.
Traveling out of your country to look for money is one of the most stupid actions you can ever take with your life.
I’ll tell you the reason.
You see, money is NOT a product of location. It’s a production of mind and ideas.
People are not rich or poor because they live in certain place or country.
People are rich or poor because of their minds, believe system and ideas they are willing to pursue.
I’ve written details about these in my free business books so don’t let me waste my time again.
The second question we all need to ask is;
What’s big deal about slavery and slave-trade?
Ounch!
You hate me?
Well, what’s big deal about slavery and slave-trade?
Nothing.
We only make noise when it’s obvious.
Slavery has started from the beginning of the world, it’s happening everywhere today and so shall it be forever.
Listen.
That state governor who owes his worker 6 months salaries is a slave-master (and there are many of them in Nigeria and Africa)
That employer who uses his employees like machine is a slave-master (and there are thousands of them all over the world).
Those people who travel out of Africa to go and wash dishes and undies in Europe and America are what?
That job that requires you to do stuffs you hate is slavery (and there are millions who rush to such work every day).
That “Good Job” that requires you to work 14 hrs every day and there’s nothing much to show for it is slavery (and most people do just that all their lives)
Listen. There is slavery and slave-trade everywhere and nobody complains about them.
We only make noise when it’s obvious.
What is the Way Out?
Free yourself!
Slaves are slaves because they love to be.
Unfortunately, most people don’t know this truth.
Most people think they are forced into the kind of life they are living now.
So many people complain about the government and so many people blame the economy.
Just as Africans who struggled to Libya did so voluntarily before they were taken as slaves, nobody is forced into slavery.
People almost always (out of their ignorance) voluntarily go into slavery.
You don’t have to travel to Europe to be rich. If you think you must travel out of your country before you “make it”, then you’re likely to end up being a slave (like many of our brothers in Europe and America).
If you think you must be an employees for 35 years, it’s your choice and you won’t complain to anyone about the slavery.
Over a decade ago, almost all of my age mates were preparing (and praying) to get “good jobs”.
I was preparing and praying to build a great company.
Myself and these guys are in the same situations financially (but we chose different paths)
Over a decade after, most of my mates are still complaining about lack of money and how their employers are treating them while I have NO employer and more money than them.
Nobody can put you in slavery, until you love the slavery yourself.
Stop complaining and stop making excuses.
Look around you for business opportunities (there are many of them in Africa).
Cooperate and form partnership deals with different people who can build your business with you.
Learn from successful entrepreneurs and be smart as you build your own empire.
It’s not easy to be free but if you’re stubborn, you can do it.
It’s not easy to build a company of your own but it’s easier than working for another man all your life and retire poor at 65.
Slavery is everywhere.
Let’s FIGHT for our individual freedom.

(My Secrets) How I Got My First Breakthrough in The Business World

Few months ago I was in one of the GTBank (a Nigerian bank) halls when I noticed a courteous, kind and well behaved employee of the bank.
I told myself, “if I have my way, I’ll give this lady a better job”
Sometimes ago Strive Masiyiwa was reading couples of articles written by a brilliant lady.
He was so impressed by the wisdom of this lady that he sent one of his top employees to go and get her for a better employment.
“I’m not living in your country” the lady reportedly said.
“Bring her down here, no matter what it will take!” Dr. Strive insisted.
It’s by coincidence that both people in my stories are ladies.
The point I’m trying to make is this;
Every entrepreneur is a thief.
And before you take that literarilly, I mean, every entrepreneur looks around for whose brains to steal.
Maybe you’re yet to understand what I’m saying.
Entrepreneurs are ordinary people who put together extra-ordinary brains, so as to achieve an extra-ordinary result.
If all my above analogies seem not clear, listen to this;
The difference between enrepreneurs and employees is that, entrepreneurs are team builders while employees are lone-rangers.
Most employees are brilliant people who pursue their financial dreams all alone.
They are accountants who only do accounting and lawyers who only argue cases.
They are drivers who only drive and bankers who only do banking works.
This is unlike entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs are people who build a team of every profession they need, to achieve their end goals.
An entrepreneur may have 10 people in his team.
One an accountant, another a graphic designer, another a driver, another a marketer, another a banker and others, lawyer, editor, customer care reps etc.
You get the picture.
One man works alone to make his living, another man works with 25 other smart people.
Who out of them will be rich?
Who out of them is smarter?
One man uses two hands to make money, another uses 1,000 hands.
Who will be richer?
What Do I Want You to Do?
First (as I always warn you), stop complaining about what government does and doesn’t.
Complaining is a way of giving excuses.
Second, open your mind to the way you can work with other people.
Bible has said it thousands of years ago; two are better than one.
Ten are better than two. 100 people are better than 10.
The more people you can work with, the richer you can become.
How I Got My Breakthrough in The Business World
I got my breakthrough in the business world when I figured out how to make more than 200 people partner with my company.
Today I have a network of few hundreds of people all across my country, all available to work as partners with my company.
I have few employees and technologies, all available to work with and for me.
Who do you think will be richer out of me and my age mates who are Accountants, bankers, lawyers (lone-rangers) who are working with their two hands?
You don’t need a prophet to get the answer.
The secrets entrepreneurs use to make millions are no secrets at all.
But when the foundation is faulty, what can the righteous do?
When our school system was decidedly built to train people to be slaves of the rich, what can the helpless souls do?
Improve your human relationship skills.
Learn and figure out how to work with other smart people.
Go into partnership.
Collaborate and exchange strengths.
This is one of my secrets.
I shared it with you because I love you and I really want to see you becoming the next Dangote.
If you want me to open your mind to more practical ways to build your own company, then join hundreds of smart Africans like you at the Africa Business University

How to Turn Your Anger to Wealth
Many years ago a man went out to shop with his wife.
They entered the first supermarket and bought a few things, move to another and bought other things, then to another.
The furious man asked his wife, “Why on Earth can’t there be a place where anyone can go to buy everything he needs?”
That man is Sam Walton.
He was angry because there was no known place where anyone can walk in and buy everything he needed.
What should he do?
He went and started his own mall.
He named it Wall Mart.
He used Wall Mart to create what he was angry about.
He made sure Wall Mart has everything you can ever wish to buy.
His company (Wall Mart) is today the biggest retail company all over the world.
The last time I checked, Wall Mart had over 2.5 million employees all over the world.
That company was born out of anger.
He was angry that there was no supermarket where anyone could walk in and buy everything he needed.
Instead of blaming anyone for that deficit, he created what he taught the world should have.
In the year 1992, a Nigerian 30 years old man was angry that there was no public toilets in most places in Nigeria.
He worked on his planned and started a company.
That company is DMT mobile toilet.
The name of that man is Otunba Gandafi.
He turned anger to millions.
In the year 2007, I became very angry that our school system is deceiving people to love jobs that are not in existence.
What should I do?
I could continue pointing fingers or do something about it.
I decided to do the later.
That anger is what gave birth to this very company which produced the tutorial you’re reading now.
I’m talking about anger.
You see, almost everyone is angry about some things
But only very few people are doing something about their anger.
100 people could be angry about bad electricity in their countries, 99 of them will continue blaming the political leaders while one of them will gather a team to make affordable solar system, sell it to millions of people and become millionaire in 5 years.
The same people got angry about the same thing.
99 of them keep on pointing fingers.
1 of them become a millionaire.
That’s what happens all the time.
Now I have a question for you.
How many things are you angry about in your country?
Make a list of them.
How many things do you see people are angry about in your country?
Make a list of them.
I’ve just given you a million dollars.
Those things you’re angry about are the millions you’re looking for.
Those things you see others angry about are the millions you’re looking for.
You don’t have to be an employee all your life.
You just have to STOP complaining and being angry.
You have to start looking for ways to turn that your anger to millions.
Sam Walton did it. Otunba Gandafi did it. I did it. Thousands of other smart entrepreneurs are doing it as you read these words.
You can do it, if you’ll be open-minded.
Our precious students at the Africa Business University are going through unprecedented revolution.
Many of them are learning in their first month of the A.B.U, what they have never learned about money and business all their lives.
Very soon, you’ll see ordinary Africans becoming millionaires because they go through the Africa Business University.
At the Africa Business University, we’re teaching our students how to STOP complaining, look for problems and how to solve those problems strategically in such a way as for them to make millions.

This is How to Know You Can Be Rich
There are two kinds of people in the world.
By this I don’t mean men and women.
The two kinds of people are not tall and short either.
In fact, I’m not talking of white and black
I mean, people who sell products/services for money and people who sell their time.
Poor people love to sell their time.
To them, that’s pretty easy and simple.
I want to agree with them.
Selling your time for money is actually very (very) easy.
Just go to school and study hard.
After school look around and get a job.
When you get a job, you’re not having the tough works or thinking, strategizing or fighting for market.
In fact, your employer may run into lose and you’ll still smile.
It’s very simple and easy.
Wake up every morning to go to work.
Obey all the commandments at the working place.
Play along with the office politics and repeat all these for 21 days every month for 35 years.
That’s what our society taught you to do.
But I tell you, that’s not the way to wealth.
I don’t care how hard you work, as long as you’re selling your time, you cannot be rich.
I don’t care how much your employer is giving you, as long as you’re selling your time, forget it, you cannot be rich.
The rich don’t sell their time. They sell products/services.
The difference here is, if you’re selling your time, you only have about 12 hrs each day to work.
However, if you’re selling products/services, you can “work” 1,000 or even 10,000 hours every day.
Yea, you can do this by employing other people and technologies to work for you. This way, you’ll be making money, even when you’re on the bed with your wife.
I think our society was built on deceptions and that’s the reason why every child is trained to be employee.
I’m going to spend the rest of my life to fight against this stupidity, believe me.
But wait.
I need to tell you that it’s not very easy to be an entrepreneur either.
You have to learn hard, think hard, fight hard.
But you see, it does worth it.
The freedom, lifestle and cash makes it worth it.
Don’t believe anyone who tells you that you cannot be an entrepreneur.
Many of you know my story.
I was born in a very poor village (Oyi-Adio Osun State, Nigeria).
Not just that.
I was born with an unusual health challenge that made me to be sick about two time every month.
Growing up, I couldn’t play like normal children.
I couldn’t fight. I couldn’t even go to school normally (because I would be sick like twice every month).
My father was a poor cocoa farmer and my mother a tailor.
I had NOTHING while growing up except God and determination to build a successful business.
But that was enough.
Listen.
You have to stop selling your time for money.
You cannot be rich until you learn and master how to sell products/services.
How can you start?
Very simple (though not easy)
Simply start learning how to build a company.
I know many people hate this advice but I don’t have any better one.
Listen. You spent more than 20 years to learn how to be who you are today.
School taught you from day one till you finished the university, how to sell your time.
You’ve spent more than 20 years to learn the WRONG thing and it will be a joke for you to want to do the right thing with the wrong education school gave you.
That’s my advice.
Go out today and buy at least 3 business books.
Yes, buy at least 2 business books every month.
Attend seminars where successful entrepreneurs share their wisdom.
Visit this blog at least 3 times every week to learn from me.
Plus, if you want a step-by-step practical entrepreneurship training, you can join the Africa Business University

I Believe in Africa.
I Love You!
Do it or Die!
Your desire to succeed must be greater than your love of life.
It’s a very harsh statement but it’s true.
“Do-or-Die” should be everyone’s motto.
I’m yet to see anyone who becomes successful without “Holy Desperation”
Most people simply love their lives_____________________ too much
They don’t want to fail.
They are afraid of loosing money.
They are afraid of what their friends and family will think.
Such men will (without doubt) die average.
Your desire to succeed must be greater than your love of life.
It’s better for me to die today, than to live till next 50 years as an average man.
I Love You.
How to Be a Great Man/Woman
Everyone wants to be an hero but nobody want to go through hell.
Everyone wants to be successful but nobody wants to fail.
Everyone wants to be warrior but nobody wants to go to the war
Unfortunately, hell is the name of the road that leads to heroism
Failure is the name of the road that leads to success.
War is the name of the road that makes men warriors.
He who keeps his life will lose it.
He who is fearful cannot be an hero.
Don’t be deceived. You can NEVER have cheap success in life.
If you’re not willing to fight, you’re not willing to get freedom.
After I’ve failed for about 5 years in the business world, someone in my family told me, “But you told us years ago that you want to make millions?”
To him, I was a failure.
But that’s because he didn’t understand that the road to greatness is filled with sweat and tears.
He thought I was a failure (because I had failed about 5 years) but I was not a failure.
I was simply traveling to the city of success.
Don’t be a coward.
Overcome your fear.
Fight for what you believe is your dream.
Go for it, though it’s not easy.
Stop complaining about what government does or fail to do.
Focus on your life.
Start that small business.
Be committed to it and keep on learning.
It’s better you DIE today trying to achieve your dream than to live the next 50 years just dreaming
Steve Olorun-Ni
Don’t Wait Till You’re in An Hurry!
I have met so many people who want to start their own businesses in the last one decade
Many of these people are honest.
But, some have waited too long while some are still waiting.
Those who have waited too long are now eager (and desperate) to achieve success.
The school fees of their children, the family financial responsibilities, the need to take care of their parents, build house, buy good cars are so real and pressing
This group of people want nothing but success NOW
I’m sorry, most time these people are failures.
These people are failures because they are not ready to pay the price.
They want to succeed NOW, today.
I once hosted one of the people in this category in my house for few days.
He asked me, “What can I do to start making money NOW?”
I replied him with my usual answer, “I don’t know!”
Unfortunately, he went home without doing anything (because what I encouraged him to do cannot bring money NOW)
The second group of people are people who are still waiting.
Unlike the first group, this group are not under much pressure (everyone is under some pressures)
But these people are procrastinating and they are likely to keep on procrastinating till they will be overwhelmed by pressures, just like the first group.
I know another man in this group.
He has procrastinated for more than 9 years and he’s now desperate about starting a business.
What do I want to teach you here?
If you’re not under much pressures now, go out there and do something CRAZY with your life
Stop making excuses!
Stop complaining about what you have and don’t have
Go out. Get your hands dirty.
Do any ugly thing you can do (as long as it’s not a sin)
As you do this, keep on reading good business books and develop relationships with business-minded people.
You’ll breakthrough and succeed.
If you’re in the first group.
If you’ve procrastinated and complained the last 5-10 years.
The first thing you need to understand is that nature doesn’t give room for short cut.
Most people think they can take short cut. That’s why they get involved in pozzi schemes, gambling etc.
Unfortunately, these people always end up becoming poorer.
Forget the hope of making million TOMORROW.
Nature will not allow you to do that and if you try to do it in some illegal ways (drugs and harm robbery), you know the implications.
If you know you’ve procrastinated many years before now, the best thing you can do now is to stop procrastinating.
Start focusing your energy on building your own empire.
Don’t believe it’s too late
Colonel Sander started Kenturkey Fried Chicken when he was 65 years old, yet he became a millionaire before he died because he focused on what he wanted to achieve.
No. He didn’t have the money.
He simply had the passion and the willingness to pay the price.
Don’t believe in get-rich-quick
People who believe in get-rich-quick end up become poor all their live
Be willing to start (small), NOW, with whatever you have.
Keep on learning and keep on believing in yourself.
I believe in you and I believe in Africa
I believe Africa can become a better place if you and I stop complaining and start doing something great with our lives.
Don’t think you need Africa to become better
Africa needs you to become better
Don’t think you need Africa to become richer
Africa needs you to become richer
Don’t think of what Africa can do for you.
Think of what YOU can do for Africa
You Friend and Lover,
Steve Olorun-Ni
How Working Hard Can Make You Poor
It’s not a secret. The poorest people on Earth are people who work the hardest (at least, with their bones)
Go to companies’ factories. Visit any company you know.
Look for people who work hardest and you’ll see the sad picture.
But wait.
Steve, do you mean I should be lazy?
No.
I mean you should work less with your bones and more with your brain.
If you truly want to become a successful entrepreneur, you’ll have to discover a wonderful business idea to build your business on.
But that is just the begging.
After you discover a great business idea, you’ll need a million other small ideas to grow and build a successful company.
As an entrepreneur, you need an idea every day (EVERY day) of your life and any day you don’t come up with new idea(s) is as good as no day.
You must keep on improving your business and operations (and you must do so very fast to beat competitions)
If this is true (which is true), how can you come up with new ideas, day after day?
Well, you need to work less with your bone and more with your brain.
First, you need to feed your brain some good foods.
You need to read and listen to creative people.
You need to supply your brain the seed with which it’s going to think.
Second, you must allow your brain to think.
Working 14 hours every day, 7 days a week will not make you rich (you’re lucky if it doesn’t make you the poorest man in your city).
Take time to read good books (feed your mind)
Take time to free your mind from labour of work.
Sit alone.
Walk around in lonely places.
Sit under a tree.
There’s a reason why Napoleon Hill named his book “Think and Grow Rich” and not “Work and Grow Rich”
Working harder will make you poorer.
Thinking harder will make you richer.
I Love You.
